My video for When Saints Go Machine “Parix” has been selected for the music video competition at this years South By Southwest film festival in Austin, Texas.

It a pretty great feeling being chosen side by side with people I love – like my danish buddy Jeppe Kolstrup with the epic 030 video, OK GO (who did this amazing interactive messenger video – please check it out!!) and Benjamin Kutsko (from “The Masses”) who did the very special Alexander video.

Looking forward to the responses from the festival.

Take care everybody!

- Daniel.

Hey!!

Soo the wonderful people at Bubbles, Berlin (http://www.bubblesfilm.de/) like my stuff and they have signed me to their roster of talented people such as my friend Casper Balslev (http://www.casperbalslev.com/).

It’s such a wonderful pat on the back, and I’m really excited to see what this collaboration will bring..

Also:

I finished my second film at American Film Institute last week. It is called “All Apologies” (yeah like the Nirvana song, I know..). Here are some frames from the film.

It will come online soon enough.

Dear all,

So we shot About Face two weekends ago. It has already been edited and yesterday it was shown to everyone at the American Film Institute.

The reaction was overwhelming, and opinions and comments help me and my teammates a lot. I wanted to share this photo with you all, and let you know that excerpts from the film will be online soon.

Stay in touch, tell me if you are reading these small posts from my life in LA.

Daniel.

Hello followers (which is basically the same as saying “hi mom”).

Just a little update on whats been going on with Parix. This week it made it to the vimeo.com staff pick, and it’s still at the top of their list. I am speechless!

Also, it is an amazing honor to be posted on promonews.tv who is giving the video great clout.

This weekend we are shooting our first film at AFI ABOUT FACE.

It has bmx bikes, bombs and vicious masturbating.

More to cum…..

I’m just getting into this blogging thing, and thought this photo might fall in someones taste.

We are in pre production of my first film at the American Film Institute. It’s called About Face, and is about an adolescent boy named Face, who decides to kill his ex-girlfriend. It’s a comedy, with the title inspired by a Grizzly Bears song.

My friend and Cinematographer Justin Kane shot this amazing photo on our scout the other day.

Looking forward to sharing more.

I’m am extremly proud to share the new WHEN SAINTS GO MACHINE video with the world.
Parix is based on the state of mind, I’m still trying to shake away from.
I don’t know if you remember, but sometimes it was easier not to move, when the load on your shoulders got to heavy.
Sometimes it still is.

I hope you enjoy the story.

My personal gallery has now opened it’s tiny baby eyes, and looked out on the world for the first time.
If you have any thoughts on what you see here, please share them with me.

Let me know about your work and person. I’m fucking curious!
