Daniel Kragh-Jacobsen (b. 86) primarily works in fiction film, helming a variety of web- and television series in his homecountry Denmark.
However Daniel studied in the US, graduating from the American Film Institute Conservatory (class of 2013), where his graduation film Turtle gained him a shortlist for the Student Academy Awards.
Daniels 2017 short film Next Stop, was nominated for a Danish Academy Award for Best Short.
He was also the co-creator and director of the 2019 youth web series Crazy Summer.
Daniel has directed four episodes of the Danish bluesky-crime series The Summerdahl Murders, which were broadcasted on Danish TV2 in 2022.
He is currently finishing up a dark youth comedy series for DR, set to premiere in early 2023.
