As you can see from the image above, I have been fascinated by filmmaking from a very young age.

I come from a family of storytellers—my parents worked in theater and documentary filmmaking, and my uncle was a feature film director.

Over the past 20 years, I have directed short films, commercials, web series, TV series, and music videos.

I love collaboration, and to me, filmmaking is a way of building community. I am curious about human beings, and film allows me to explore and process the complexities we all carry. Characters are at the heart of everything I do.

I enjoy the necessity of writing—whether it’s developing someone else’s idea or starting from scratch with my own. I also love working with actors, setting up scenes, and and finally creating images to capture these.
