Letter to my father

Letter To My Father –  Corona Virus Dogma Project.

“ In April 2020 during the Corona Virus lock down, New Land challenged their directors to create a film
from the same set of rules. The rules were:

1. We didn’t know who or where to shoot before 48 hours prior to shooting.

2. We got 1,5 hours with the actor including preparation.

3. We only had 5-minutes of 16mm film.

4. We had to control the camera ourselves.

5. We were not to be involved in the editing, except for one email to the editor with our thoughts.

I decided to write a letter to my father. I wrote this letter, because I needed to tell my father something, but it
wasn’t until I had written the letter, I understood what that was. I am nervous you will laugh at my problems,
but I am hopeful that you will see yourself mirrored, if only just slightly”.
